Our mission
About one-quarter of Nepal's population is living below the poverty threshold. Natural disasters displaced thousands of families and worsened the already frail economy. Children are facing severe challenges such as lack of food, medical support, education, and living on the streets. With your support, we can give them the future they deserve.

Why Nepalese children need our help
- 1High mortality rate34 out of 1000 Nepalese children die before their 5th birthday, mostly from preventable causes. Although remarkable progress was made in child survival in the past few decades, 19 189 children died in 2018 alone.
- 2No education770 000 children aged 5-12 years are out of school. Attendance in early childhood education is still low at 51 percent. Key barriers to enrollment and attendance include poverty, social exclusion, disability, migration, child labor, social norms, and gender bias.
- 3Natural disastersIn 2017, monsoons and the most severe rainy season in 15 years caused flooding and landslides in 35 districts of Nepal. 1.7 million people were affected, 20 880 families displaced, and 43 400 homes destroyed.

We want to help to repair the existing old and unsafe building, so the school could deliver more lessons and provide improved facilities.

We organize professional development programs to support and train teachers to provide additional resources and equipment.
