Websites made on Tilda are designed with digital accessibility in mind

Tilda's pre-designed blocks include all the necessary features to create a user-friendly website for people with disabilities. The layout and attributes allow you to create a website that is easily understandable by assistive technologies. For example, screen readers will accurately read the website content.

Design system for people with different information perception abilities

The colored focus box helps people navigate the page and makes it clear what element is being interacted with.
All title blocks include H1-H6 tags
The titles of different levels allow the screen reader to accurately read the page structure and navigate pages using the keyboard.
Alt text for images in all blocks
The users with visual impairments will hear the image's description. If there is a temporary problem, such as slow connection, sighted visitors will also benefit from it and read the image's description.
Header and footer
The screen reader will recognize that a person has switched to a header or footer block and will voice them accordingly. In the header, it is possible to skip reading menu items and go straight to the main content.
Menu and submenu navigation
Menu and submenu items are properly marked so that visitors can browse through them with a screen reader or keyboard.
Forms
Most fields are accessible for screen readers and keyboards. The success or error messages are also voiced.
Pop-ups
Visitors using a screen reader will understand that they have opened a pop-up window and are interacting with it. Pop-ups are also available for keyboard navigation.

Tabs can be browsed by using the keyboard. The content will be voiced by the screen reader for the visitors with visual limitations.
Accordion-style blocks
The items in the accordion will be voiced by the screen reader. Also, they can be browsed using the keyboard.
Sliders
Buttons, arrows, and pagination are legible by the screen reader and can be navigated from the keyboard.

Driving accessibility on Tilda

We've made a lot of progress and keep on working to make the platform more accessible. We are planning to improve the remaining blocks from the library, Zero Block, Product Catalog, Feeds, and the Tilda interface. We will also be adding more tools to test the accessibility of your websites.
